I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The rooms in the annexe were filled with old-fashioned hospitality, boasting an amazingly comfortable bed, a contemporary bathroom, and a great view. The service was top-notch, with all staff being extremely friendly and happy to accommodate any request. The location in the South Lakes area offered proximity to Lakeside for cruises to Bowness-on-Windermere or Ambleside and easy access to other areas of the Lakes. While the dining experience had various options and included cold meat, there were minor issues like cereal being served late. On the upside, the facilities were great, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
